Anderson University Information Technology Services and Human Resources are excited to announce PeopleSoft Fluid Interface is now available for Time & Labor timekeeping for biweekly employees (e.g. web clock, timesheets) and pay details sections (e.g. pay advice, W4-tax election) within our AccessAU HR environment.
The system developers are Oracle, the corporation which provides the PeopleSoft software that drives AccessAU. Oracle recognize the need for their software to be readily accessible on today's commonly used mobile devices. Consequently, they have introduced the concept of the PeopleSoft Fluid Interface which like a fluid adapting itself to its container, adapts itself to the space available on the screen of a mobile device. Instead of data packed screens that are difficult to use and navigate, Fluid uses the now familiar concept of tiles to access functionality.
In the next 18 months the AU community will see a phased roll-out of areas of PeopleSoft that are adapted to use the Fluid interface. In the short term, screens viewed on desktop devices will not reflect this change but that could change with future updates. In today's mobile world, this new interface will allow our system users to more easily access functionality, wherever they may be.
