FacultyStaff – a combination of the above two categories. Generally speaking, email sent to this address reaches every University employee. It is used most properly for official University announcements and other items of business. It may also be used for prayer requests for members of the campus community.
Classifieds – an elective list (you may ask to be added or taken off) for personal announcements, for sale items, non-University event announcements, etc. Persons participating in this distribution list should expect to receive extra emails on a daily basis.
Forum – an elective list for community discussion. Questions or observations posted to Forum can expect lively comment and debate. This discussion is unmoderated; decorum and good-taste in all postings is expected. Political topics or campaigning for candidates should be avoided.

Students – a non-elective distribution list for students is available but strictly controlled. An individual member of the campus community CANNOT send mail to all students using this address. Requests for all-student emails should be directed to the Dean of Students who will decide on a case-by-case basis if the request has merit. In general, use of this address is reserved for only the most highly relevant messages which impact ALL students. It is not available for general announcements.
