Anderson University Information Technology Services (ITS) will be implementing a new email filter for all Anderson University gmail accounts. The filter, Reflexion Total Control by Sophos, is an important piece of our security plan. It will block much of the malicious email we've been receiving. Unfortunately, Reflexion got enabled prematurely. As a result, some email messages sent to you on April 26 were quarantined, meaning they were not delivered to your gmail inbox. The service has been temporarily turned off and ALL quarantined messages have been released to your inbox.
As some of you have seen this morning, Reflexion Total Control will send a summary email of action that was taken and will provide a way for you to see quarantined messages and act on those messages. Since all emails have been released, you may disregard the Total Control email, if you received one. If you aren't seeing an email are you expecting, check your spam folder.
ITS will provide you with additional information and direct you to documentation prior to Reflexion being put into service again. If you have any questions, please contact Michael Tucker (firstname.lastname@example.org).
